기존에 출시된 3nm 필터중에서 밝은 별의 헤일로(halo) 억제가 가장 좋다고 해서 구입을 했다. 이 필터는 도심의 광해를 대부분 차단하기때문에 도심에서도 좋은 사진을 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 아직 해외 사용기가 없어서 성능이 어떨지는 장담할 수 없으나 좋은 성능을 보여줄 것으로 기대한다. 옵토롱 L-Ultimate 필터와 한동안 고민하다가 결국 아스카 필터를 구입 (두 필터를 비교한 리뷰글에서 아스카 필터가 헤일로 억제가 좀 더 좋다는 평가를 보고...).

 

cf. 3nm 듀오 밴드 필터는 발광 성운, 행성상 성운 또는 초신성 잔해를 촬영하는 데 이상적이며 중심 파장에서 매우 높은 투과율을 가진다. 필터의 매우 좁은 대역폭은 광해 또는 야간 조명과 같은 기타 방해 요소의 영향을 효과적으로 차단한다.
