Five brightest planets and Earth.

5행성과 지구.

목성, 토성,  화성, 금성, 수성 그리고 지구. 또한 오리온자리의 베텔게우스, 황소자리의 알데바란, 마차부자리의 카펠라 등의 많은 1등성도 볼 수가 있습니다. 가장 밝은 5개의 행성들과 함께 지구를 포함하면 6개의 행성이 촬영되었네요.

이 사진처럼 5개의 행성이 한 시야에 다 들어오도록 촬영하려면 2060년 7월까지 기다려야 합니다. 이렇게 오랫동안 기다려야 하는 이유는 5개 행성 중에서 2개(수성과 금성)의 행성이 항상 태양에 가깝게 있기때문입니다.

Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Earth. Also identified on this shot are the bright stars Betelgeuse in Orion, Capella in Auriga, and Aldebaran in Taurus.

All five planets visible to ancient astronomers can be seen in alignment in the western sky. Including our own vantage point, the Earth, this means that every planet potentially visible to the naked eye can be seen at the same time, giving a unique perspective on the planetary orbits about the Sun.

The next time they converge far enough from the Sun to be seen as easily as we can see them in May 2002, the date will be July 2060.
