고리를 가진 이 행성은 정말 아름다우며, 오늘 밤은 이를 관측하기에 일 년 중 최적의 시기이다. 앞으로 한 달 동안 토성을 관측하기에 아주 좋은 조건이 이어진다. 해가 진 후 동쪽 하늘에서 맨눈으로 토성을 볼 수 있는데, 페가수스자리 대사각형 바로 아래에 위치한 밝은 별처럼 보인다. 토성은 1등성보다 두 배나 밝은 노란색 별처럼 볼 수 있다. 작은 망원경으로도 그 아름다운 고리를 볼 수 있다.

The ringed planet is truly beautiful, and tonight is the best night of the year to see it. Saturn offers optimal viewing conditions for the next month. You can see Saturn with the naked eye in the eastern sky after sunset; it appears as a bright star located just below the Great Square of Pegasus. It looks like a yellow star twice as bright as first magnitude. Even a small telescope will show its magnificent rings.
